
At this stage, there are several possible explanations: 1 supplier disclosure may simply not be part of the current payload-design announcement 2 Skyloom could still be involved, but the disclosure strategy may have changed after the IonQ acquisition 3 or NEC may have shifted to another optical supplier - though no replacement has been publicly named so far For now, the most neutral position is to wait for the next NEC, Skyloom, JAXA, or launch-manifest signal. However, since the 2024 agreement was not a simple supplier contract but a joint development, testing, and manufacturing partnership, it does not seem likely that NEC would have easily changed suppliers.
