Anyway software is hard

I know not everyone is a power user of Search in Slack but the fact that I can’t filter directly from the search bar w/o typing in the syntax for the search is annoying - not clear how making me take two to three clicks for something that used to take one is more efficient but…

Sad to report that my work workspace finally made the switch to the new UI and I have lost about an hour this morning redoing my settings so that it’s more usable. I still 100% do not like it and yes Slack friends I know I will get used to it but that doesn’t make it any better.

@cnallen SplitView? Or workspace situations? I’ve got the workspace toggle on (yay!) but it makes it so I have 2 columns on my left side bar - one for WS and one w/ the home etc icons. I’d pref to have in the same column/ slightly smaller so it doesn’t take up smaller screen real estate.

@eakinsey It’s there, you gotta toggle it on though. Click your workspace icon and look at the bottom.

@cnallen I’d love to have the workspace column in the same as the home etc and still have Split View!

@cnallen I think my other issue is that it’s only in 1/2 my workspaces so I’m toggling between experiences and it is JARRING

@cnallen Having all the notifications piled from all my workspaces is stressing me out!!!! Plus the transparent overlay makes it harder (for me) to look at/ figure out what is important. I miss mentions & reactions on their own. I know I’ll get *used* to it but right now I’m struggling!
