@tontebriggs The average Nigerian thinks like this. Just give them rice and they will start laying curses on those speaking out against the government

There was a big forest close to a river called River Airegin, the animals gathered every season to choose a leader who would guide them into prosperity. One election year, the animals chose the Lion. Although, the Lion didn't really promise anything but he had other animals who spoke for him. The animals supporting him promised all the animals safety and prosperity with plenty of food. The animals clapped their paws, hooves, and wings. One old Tortoise, who had seen many election seasons, nodded quietly but said nothing. Immediately after the Lion became king, things began to change. The Lion stopped hunting for the forest but instead, he hunted the forest. He took the best meat for himself and his close friends, Hyena, Jackal, and Vulture. River Airegin began to dry because the beavers who maintained it were too hungry to work. The farms of Antelope and Rabbit were constantly raided by the Lion's friends and not one of them was arrested. The forest slowly began to suffer. Many animals complained but were powerless against the Lion. The Elephants no longer had water to drink. The Birds started going hungry and the Goats cried that their children were disappearing. But every time the animals complained, the Hyena would laugh loudly and say, “Our king is the best king the forest has ever had!” The Parrot, although a bird also supported the Hyena and said: “Things have never been better in the forest. The Lion will win in the next election!” The Monkey jumped from tree to tree shouting, “If you don't like the Lion, then leave the forest!” It was shocking that as the forest grew poorer, some animals continued defending the Lion more fiercely than the Lion defended himself. They fought the other animals. They insulted those who spoke out. They mocked those who complained. Meanwhile, the Lion continued to feast. One day, the rivers finally dried and the grass disappeared. All the food was gone. With little or no food left, the Lion turned on the animals that had defended him the most. Hyena was the first to be eaten. Jackal was the second and even the Parrot disappeared. The Monkey, who once shouted the loudest, climbed the tallest tree and cried, “Why is the king doing this to us?” Old Tortoise, who had watched quietly all along, slowly lifted his head and said, “When a forest is burning, and some animals keep fanning the fire, the flames will not ask who supported them before they burn.” Defending a bad king does not save you from the consequences of his rule.

I was at a business meeting yesterday at **The ITSA Digital Trust in Leckhampton**. I met a tall and handsome oyibo man and we got talking. I shared with him how my business TSM Wellness is helping small business owners craft a stress management plan for their business. I then asked him what he does, and he said he is a medium. My mind immediately flashed back to the story of Saul and his encounter with the medium who connected him with the dead Samuel. Still confused, I asked him, “Do you mean you interact with dead people?” He said yes. Out of curiosity, I asked him how he does this. He started explaining how the spirits operate through energy vibrations and how they lower their vibrations to meet his. He also said he does not guarantee that they will speak with him every time. He shared many testimonials and stories of how things the spirits told him later came to pass with precision. He may be operating with a familiar spirit and not even know it. We will be seeing each other again next month. Hopefully, we will talk about Jesus. If you think that because you live abroad there are no spiritualists, then you are joking.
