@jcorrigangolf When does a referee call time on a match without blowing his whistle? Sure, the rules allow for it, in extreme circumstances, like if his whistle breaks or whatever .. but to claim this is what he did in this match - the most important- is stretching credibility to the limit.

So from what i understand it was fine, that the Celtic v Hearts match was called off early because the Hearts manager said it should be? That is an incredible precedent.

@neilmryan1978 @Phantomthe55th Yes because the fans invaded the pitch before the final whistle.. rules are rules ! What other penalty could be applied? Personally I don’t think the SFA will have the balls to carry this out : they will just fine Celtic and placate Hearts financially.. and the cycle continues

Hearts have obtained an emergency interdict at the High Court in Edinburgh this evening ensuring that the Scotch football authorities preserve and disclose the timestamped audio of events at the end of the game. If no final whistle is heard then likely outcome will be a 3-0 win awarded to Hearts of Midlothian.

@neilmryan1978 @Phantomthe55th I get your point Neil that awarding the title to Hearts would be difficult to justify given they were 2 goals down with 30 secs to play. However, rules aren’t ment to be subjective.. Yes, officials made a howler and they should have waited, cleared the pitch. So Hearts to win.

This is pretty sweet. The Golf Association of Philadelphia put up a women’s rating of the blue tees so that I (and now others!) can post my score from Aronimink! It’s a little-known issue, and I’ve talked to a lot of ex-college golfers who deal with the same. The tees that we typically play (usually white tees) often are only rated for the men.
