@Twizzazz Here's why the hypothetical doesn't really work as a thought experiment: there's no actual risk. People who say they'll press blue might feel a lot different when it's their actual life on the line and no performative altruism to brag about.

Only people who would push blue are those who lack reading comprehension, want to die or have the self preservation instinct of a goomba. No one is forcing anyone to vote blue. If everyone takes care of themselves then everyone lives.

@cinnamontoastk Making the choice to pick blue does not make the red pressers guilty. It's basically suicide, like throwing yourself into traffic and then hoping that the cars stop before they hit you.

The most unrealistic thing about "I Made Friends With the Second Prettiest Girl in Class" is that they found a game to play together on the PS5. Other than that, this show is looking pretty good with the makings of becoming a new personal fave.

Hell, it's revealed by the end of the trial that Kyoko knew the entire time and that she was guiding you to the real conclusion, which is NOT only that Leon is the killer, but also that in her final moments, Sayaka felt guilt for her failed plot and wished for Makoto to live

There is no way to alter this without cutting large swaths of the game. Everyone (even the killer) thinking its 11037 is a major plot point that gets referenced numerous times throughout the series. The whole complaint is predicated on the falsehood that this is a puzzle.

Tourist. It's the first trial and the MC is the primary suspect. The whole trial is focused on you having to prove your innocence beyond the shadow of a doubt before you can even begin to lay out the evidence against Leon.

People aways love to talk about how Nathan and Lara would team up, but thats actually quite the opposite. Nate steals and sells artifacts, exactly the type of person Lara despises. Lara is a protector of ancient history and studies it. Nate is a peddler in for the money.

@rivskingdom I've read and watched tons of Batman stories and I can't think of a single time where Deathstroke was the big bad that Batman had to fight. I have seen a few times where he's a hired goon who gets his shit rocked by Batman though.

When did "comic accurate" become synonymous with "crammed with references and very specific aesthetic choices that don't actually contribute anything?" The more I read comics and look into their history, the more "comic accurate" becomes a meaningless term.

Another observation from my experience with the 60s Batman show...Gordon 100% knows Bruce Wayne is Batman. Just watched an episode where Batman is presumed dead and one of Riddler's goons disguises himself as Batman and Gordon was able to see right through it.

I just watched All About Eve again a month or two ago so it's a bit fresh in my mind. But there's 4 episodes in a row that star people who were nominated for a bunch of awards for that film: George Sanders as Mr. Freeze and Anne Baxter as Zelda The Great.

I've been watching some of the 60s Batman show. It's insane how clever this show is most of the time. Also I think Burt Ward is underrated as Dick Grayson. It's hard to describe why it works so well. And of course, it's crazy that they got some Oscar caliber actors as villains.

@Vulture_Venom I take it you don't know what shot composition is. If characters are laid out differently on the page, like Azrael going from the corner to the center, then it's not the same. But again, they could straight reuse the panel from Sword of Azrael and it STILL wouldn't be plagiarism

This is simply, objectively, not plagiarism. The art style, composition, wording and even the design are all already different enough. Even if they weren't, WFA is sponsored by DC Comics. They already have permission to use characters, concepts and plotlines from the comics

Nobody ever claimed that Blue Beetle was in the new continuity. It was greenlit and filmed before Gunn took over. Same goes for The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker which are being retconed in. Creature Commandos was the first project. Creature Commandos is not a movie.
