We have to get back to a place where working people can afford to buy a home, where home ownership and a good, secure, future in their own country is real for our young people. Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael missed their housing targets in 2023, it was worse in 2024 and will be even worse in 2025. We need a major and urgent change of direction because as long as FF/FG continue with their approach home ownership will move even further out of the reach.
