Her husband had a strange feeling. He woke up and told his wife. "Babe, this makeover job at Ikorodu makes me uncomfortable. Can you please send someone else?" "Haba!" She responded. "This person is my friend and I promised her. Just imagine if I disappoint" She said.

The moment the blood of Jesus dripping from His body touched the earth, All other bloods, oils and wines in the marketplace of humanity lost their primary spiritual value. As soon as He said "It is finished", All incantations became powerless!

Conversations of Truth A couple of years ago, a neighbour who was a lawyer and had his chamber in Lagos was to relocate. His wife has applied and was approved. She worked with one of the top 5 banks in Nigeria. Being close neighbours, he told me the testimony and I removed with him. However, a week to his relocation with his wife and 3 sons who were still in primary school, I saw him graying rapidly but I quickly wrote it off as stress. One day, he climb upstairs and knocked. I ushered him in and he just told me bluntly: I am afraid. How do I begin? Who do I know over there? When challenges arise, how can I work around the system? What of my aged mum? Who will she call? The distance is too much! I'm not as young as I used to and I don't know how to start afresh. I was quiet for a while because I honestly didn't know what to say. Yes, I've moved between states but to relocate to another country was something else. I found a few words and told him I'll come on the eve of his relocation and pray for him and the family. I did. They travelled and settled down and in six months, God did a great thing. Even those who 'japa' don't do it without worries here and there. Many of them went because necessity demanded it. Some are over there and struggling. When God told Abraham to leave his father's house to a land God was going to 'show him', it wasn't an easy decision. It's why those who are carnal can never understand the leadings of the Spirit. To AFL and countless who have left the comfort of their homes for missions in places that have no name on the map and to even countries where Christians are persecuted for the sake of the Gospel, I assure you that you're an answer to the prayers of many. God has blessed you.

God's way isn't complex but there are many who believe His instructions have to be complex for them to see the desired results in their obedience. Abraham: Leave your father's house to a land I'll show you. He obeyed! Isaac: Do not go to Egypt but stay in Gerar and sow in the land during a famine. He obeyed! Jacob: Return to the land of your fathers and to your kindred. He Obeyed. God has told your several times: Leave that house. Leave that relationship. Leave that business. Leave that job. You forget that delayed obedience is disobedience. You forget that the longer you disobey, the longer your place in pain and sorrow. Again, God's instructions aren't complex and the lead to so much. Hear word today. I no gree, I no gree na so shirt de tear.

Never dislike a person just because of what someone told you about them. When water tastes bad in your mouth, sometimes the water is sparkling clean. It is the cup that is dirty.

The Lord came down to fellowship with Adam & Eve in the cool of the day. Angels had never seen such a thing in all their billions of years. The majestic terrible Yahweh 'gisting' with a created being? Wow!! They marveled. Jesus came because man lost this.

Grace is not abundant because it is cheap. It is abundant because my sin was great That Jesus died for me shows how great His grace is, but that He had to die shows how great my sin was The law showed me I was a sinner and in fear God's judgment I began to cry out for Christ

Forgiveness is a burden. It is a light burden because it is freely given, but it is not so light as to be counted as nothing. It is of very great cost. Grace is abundant, yet precious; treasure, not waste; freely, Yet not cheaply given.

When someone does not know how great a sinner he was, he cannot love God. A person who loves God knows how great a sinner he was, but he does not bear the burden of guilt, He bears the burden of forgiveness.

Musings God is faithful is a statement I've heard and I've come to know that it is true. Many years ago, like many today, I also had my issues with God and at a point, I told myself I would intentionally live by my carnal nature with the justification that : Nothing can happen. I stopped praying, attending Church services and never entertained anything or anyone relating to God. God has failed me. I had gone for a party and late that night I was returning with some friends. We were on 3MB, blasting DMX's Ruff Ryder's anthem whilst doing 200+. I was the loudest with the lyrics but I wasn't the one driving. All of a sudden, a strange sight appeared towards us, suspended. 🤣🤣🤣. Tunji, our formula 1 driver stepped on the break and attempted to swerve but we had lost control. All of a sudden, the car stopped towards the railing of the bridge and the image fluttered back to the sea and disappeared in the blanket of the night. What happened?! Cars were very few that night but those who passed us kept telling us it was God that saved us. We started the car, packed by the side properly and switched off the engine. Sesan said to me: It was you. I didn't understand but Tunji said: it was you that cried out JESUS! I had lost control and even given up when you shouted JESUS! You would think I learnt my lesson but I shoved it aside, foolishly angry with God. We got home in silence and later in the day we all began to leave Tunji's place. 'Shebi, Sharon is having a house party tomorrow night?! I think we should pull up". I said. Jite, the wildest of us, paused and looked at me - I don't know what you have with a God but he saved not only you but all of us. As for me, I am tired of this lifestyle but if you're not, you can pull up by yourself but for me, I need to have a rethink. As he walked away, he turned and said: Don't let God spit you out, Patrick. I don't know the Bible like you do but this life isn't for you. On my way home, I played the whole event and I realized - God was faithful in His part even when I was foolish. I wept in the car and swore to never go back to that life again. Tunji began attending Church, got born again and became a missionary. Jite became born again and was a teen and young Adult Pastor until he began his own ministry which was rehabilitating of drug addicts in the North. Sesan died two years after. This story is for someone here who by virtue of things that have happened made you ignore God or even refusing to talk to Him or be his number 1 critique: GOD LOVES YOU. Fiery Love @earthworkrr

There’s this one story with the ending that feels weird and wicked but amazing. While David was reigning peacefully over Israel, one of his children, the fine hairy Absalom took Israel from his father to the extent that David ran away with very few people supporting him while Absalom had almost all Israel behind him. While David and his supporters were roaming, hiding and running from Absalom, a particular guy name Shimei, the son of Gera from Saul’s lineage saw David one day and started cursing him. He cursed the king while throwing stones and sand at a whole David. He called him names like Oloshi, Oloriburuku, Oba ofo, oba adanu and oba isonu. It was that bad. One of the men of valor with David by name Abishai, begged David that he should give him just two seconds for him to kpai Shimei but David no gree. Shimei walked. After several months in hiding, David wing through Joab and Abishai eventually killed Absalom and David had to come back into the city. This same Shimei quickly ran back to beg David, exactly how Reno Omokri or Daniel Bwala have said many nonsense about Tinubu but today, they have their tails between their thighs working for him for crumbs. That’s how Shimei begged too. “My dear Daddy David, Baba daada, baba oninuure, please forgive the nonsense I did then. Igba aimo ni. I behaved terribly like DOlusegun, please forgive me”. David looked at him and said “Take it from me boy, I will not kill you. You are forgiven”. Here’s the twist, David never forgave Shimei. In fact, he told Solomon while he was charging him about the throne he was taking over. He told him how Shimei called him Oloriibu and spat on him. The thing vexed Solomon gan but o ka sara. At last, when David died and Solomon reigned, Solomon called for Shimei and he showed up at the palace. Solomon then told him “I heard everything you did to my papa while he was alive, o fi oju baba mi gbole but he didn’t kill you”. Shimei replied “But I have begged daddy now. I begged him before he died”. Solomon replied “I know you did. That’s why I won’t kill you but you must do small house arrest. Go back to your city, build a fenced house with everything you need and you must not step out”. Shimei looked at the punishment like “is that all?” “Thank you o King. I will do just that”. Shimei went back, built a country home with everything he needed. He got many servants and things to last him a lifetime. He lived peacefully enjoying life at home without stepping out for 3 years until one day, two of his servants ran away from home to another city. His neighbors told him about it and where they ran to. Within fee minutes, my guy quickly wore shorts, breezed out and breezed in just to bring the runaway servants back. It didn’t take time at all. Same gboranmideleru sheke shaajo neighbors went to tell the king that Shimei stepped out. The king called for Shimei. He came. The king told him his crime and baba said “haba, karaole my king. I only breezed out and breezed in. Ko pe mi rara daddy”. The king said “Bobo, iku pa e”. Then he was kpaied on spot. Wetin you learn?

What I love most about the Bible are the Bible Stories, most especially the ones in Old Testament. 😍
