Greetings Commander, We sincerely apologize that Microsoft players have recently been encountering error code 0x87DD0005 and are unable to upload their cloud saves. Currently, we have identified a backward compatibility issue within the Xbox cloud save system, which is preventing saves from being uploaded or downloaded correctly. Although some official Microsoft support pages may suggest you "delete and reinstall the game" when encountering error code 0x87DD0005, please be aware that this solution does not apply to the current compatibility issue. Forcing a reinstallation will result in the loss of any local progress that has not yet been uploaded to the cloud (excluding in-app purchases). Therefore, we strongly advise against deleting the game at this time to prevent any irreversible loss of your progress. We are planning to gradually roll out a brand-new cloud save system for all our games on Microsoft platforms to fully resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
