@TBLightning have been eliminated in the first round for 4 straight seasons dating back to 2023 my thoughts. First the Lightning went 2-10 at home. Second going back to game 6 vs the Leafs, both game 5s vs the Panthers and tonight game 7 Nikita Kucherov contributed 1 point total

The season is over and it sucks but the @TBLightning gave us an AMAZING season. While its disappointing to lose in the 1st round again, only one team can win it, and it wasn't the Bolts year. Time to reload and come back ready to strike ⚡️

@expomick What’s worst Mick is the Lightnings home record. Lost all 3 at home in OT against the Leafs, over two series 1-4 at home against the Panthers now 3 home loses against the Habs in a 7 game series. That’s what’s crazy.

@Erik_Erlendsson In the last 4 games(seasons) where the Lightning got eliminated Nikita Kucherov has 1 assist. Zero goals one measly point. Bolts keep losing because Kucherov doesn’t come through

@jayRecher Soon as they gain the zone they’re immediately looking for the home run seam pass to the trailer, Point is the worst offender. Habs read it easily get sticks in the way and clear it every time instantly. Must of been 20 times they gained the zone puck was cleared in 3 seconds.

If you think it was a lack of physicality and not a lack of execution, discipline and overpassing as the reason why the #TBLightning lost Game 5, you’re just throwing stuff against the wall A team loses or doesn’t play well… “They’re not tough or physical enough!” Get real.

@ECloskyWTSP Lightning won game 1 against the Leafs in 2023, that was the LAST time they’ve held a lead in a playoff series. The amount of losing they’ve done since then is diabolical.

For the fourth straight game it is a 3-2 final. The Tampa Bay Lightning are on the brink of elimination. In NHL history, teams trailing 3-2 lose 80% of the time. The Bolts are now 2-11 in their last 13 home playoff games.
