Permify has been acquired by @FusionAuth! Huge congrats to @firatcand, @eaytin and Tolga. What a journey 💙 We first came across @GetPermify in 2022 when their product quietly appeared in their Twitter bio. Our crawler picked it up. We got curious. We reached out. Only to find out their office was about 100 meters from my home. With nothing but a small pre-seed check and a huge vision, they packed their bags, moved to San Francisco, built real presence, launched their authorization engine, and started signing US enterprise customers. I’ll never forget their first major win. They landed P&G. There was only one issue. They needed to send over a Software License Agreement and didn't have one. So there I was, middle of the night, drafting a legal agreement for them. I am not a lawyer. ChatGPT wasn't around to save us either. Luckily no one ended up in jail over my midnight legal work. By bringing authentication and authorization together, FusionAuth and Permify will reshape how modern identity is built into a unified, transparent, deploy-anywhere identity and access management lifecycle. What happens now? This is only the start of the next chapter for the founders and for us. Much bigger things are coming 🧢
