This my old portfolio website did a great job at this.
Shortly after designing and posting about it, it pulled 13,000 impressions in traffic and I got several offers via DM.

I came across @Harri_obi portfolio website and was like who's this designer, God?! I gave myself 1 hour to fix my portfolio website, ended up spending 6 hours on it. See, keep learning random skills along the way, it'll save you money, I learned web design with ₦1,500 in 2021. You don't need a laptop, I did this on my phone. Clarity is the most important part of communication, whether in writing or speech.
A portfolio website communicates to hundreds, if not thousands of people, as such, every writing in it is best done in simple English.
If eventually, you go viral, and attract a million website..

This was when I finished BD courses and was doing some personal projects.
Crypto twitter wouldn't let me hear word about how AI was going to take all jobs in the next one year, blah blah blah.
From this point, I was able to land a role that paid me over ₦450,000 monthly...

Got admission into a private university, but my dad hid it from me and sent me to a public university where I suffered like mad 😭, only for him to send my sisters abroad to study.... Now the girls are not giving him what he wants, his trying to get close to me 😂😂

I had to train out “Sir” and “Ma” from the vocab of my closers.
For my Yoruba brothers who are very respectful they found it incredulous.
But soon they realized that giving the prospect (too much) respect, is lowering your status.
In their attempt to be liked and nice they lost out on being the trusted advisor

A lot of sales people are way too nice The first coaching tweak I make with any AE is almost always to stop being so nice. - profusely, thanking people for their time - being extremely gracious when they reschedule or no-show - saying nice to “e-meet you” - not standing by the product early in the process When you are too nice you lower your status from peer and advisor. You become perceived as a commodity rather than a valued resource. Someone without options or other prospects you are working with.

Use your brain for foundational thinking of what you want to do, when you finally have what works
Use AI to automate it and watch for what breaks, fix and let it run while you go back to the drawing board to think of how to improve it.
Then, update the running "machine"

i think every one know this, but when you put the two statements together it feels intuitive. "if you are NOT using ai, you will be left behind" "if you are using ai ALOT, you will be left behind" there is a sweat spot in between to preserve your frontal cortex.

2024, it was members from the church that vouched for me to land a remote job with a company in Abuja.
Also, I learned about blockchain and
Bitcoin during a midweek church service where people were sharing opportunities with one another, during lockdown, when things were hard.

2023 I wasn't much into church or religion, tho I was close to God and feared him.
Our resident pastor used to see me around a viewing centre where I used to charge my laptop, and would keep pushing for me to attend church....

Not a tweet. But I came on twitter one random day in 2016 (or so) and saw a guy who was having a Bible study group chat to study the New Testament. Joined them. Made life time friends Got connected to a friend who connected me to my pastor. Also met the friend—Oge—who would later go on to tell me about the business model that changed my life and countless others But the really cool part? There was a 17yr old at that time who would ask questions about the Bible and I’d spent hours teaching and explaining. That 17yr old later became my wife. And largely because of her we were able to relocate. All because I stumbled on one tweet on a random day in 2016 from a guy who wanted to study the New Testament. One little action, can snowball.
