I was a excited about the prospect of rapid publication of pre-prints on BioRxiv and have posted most of our work prior to publication. However, recent experience has altered my thinking on pre-print publication. I wonder if my experience is not normal.

Are people still excited about publishing their manuscripts on BioRxiv?

@NicholasGladman I honestly have no idea. Some kind of succulent. The previous owner of the house left it behind. I am a terrible plant biologist.

I teach plant biology, and do research with plants. A student asked me if it was okay if she showed me all her house plants after a Zoom meeting. Sure! I did not show her mine.
