When told this wasn't acceptable for a person with a disability they replied oh that's our standard process.

Told me had to go to a store (20 mins away) to return phone even after I said that was difficult for me. Answer. Well if we give you a barcode you still have to go to the post office so what's the difference?!! Ummm where to start....

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to each and every one of you who have campaigned along the way, written to your MPs, spoken to others, called, petitioned and got this issue of #AudioDescription to the front of the agenda for the government.

Audio description is a must have for blind and visually impaired people. What happened to The Equality Act? Why do these companies think that blind people don't matter?

Fantastic to hear Gregory’s won the case to keep his home, but the underlying narrative here is concerning; the housing dept was willing to evict a disabled man into homelessness.
We’re in crisis, but this type of practice is unacceptable. Housing is a human right #Auspol

My feature today: The Tasmanian government wanted to evict Gregory Parsons from the public housing unit he'd lived in for a decade without telling him why. He fought them all the way to the Supreme Court. And this week, he won! theguardian.com/australia-news… #auspol #politas
