Traveling self-employed:
"I'll book a first class late morning flight cause traveling sucks and I do it a lot"
Traveling as an employee:
"You can only book a flight in the torture seats that boards at midnight with a 5 hr layover in Miami"
If I had to start a web project tomorrow and I were prohibited from running server side JS, I’d probably use htmx. However, if I had the time and resources, I’d build a RSC runtime + framework for whatever server side language was available to me.
You'll get this same shade over on bsky from me, because it's well deserved at this point, but if you *also* want any thoughts besides "fuck you", head on over there. This is all you're getting from me here going forward.
I'm more "American" than you at this point. Something I never thought I'd say, but you're literally spouting propaganda and wagering your unfulfilled "American dream" for the ideals of racists. It's sad. IDK how else to say it, except you're a disgrace in my eyes.
AI isn't sharp enough to be perfect. It's also abundantly clear that DOGE makes mistakes.
I find it irresponsible to allow an inexperienced, under-qualified team to use an inaccurate device to "measure" the fate of federal workers.

This is probably methylene blue, which was originally ab industrial dye but has show to be biologically active and was used as an effective early malaria treatment. We know that, at the wrong doses, it is neurotoxic, but there are worm and mouse studies that small doses could have small positive effects on memory and longevity.
There have been a couple small human studies that have shown small effects and others that have shown no effect. This is true of many compounds that turn out to have no (or negative) effect on human biology. It has become a meme supplement with lots of exaggerated claims in the pseudo-health space. There is no robust research that it has positive impacts on people, which makes it sound like “well it might!!” And yeah, it might, but, like, anything might. And if we don’t know it works at all, we /definitely/ don’t know the dose that is effective and safe, which does make the eye droppers full of it concerning.
The point is we don’t know and RFK jr. very clearly prefers vibes to the methods of science.
I feel like a lot of you are in need of a reminder that your faith teaches you to "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". I guarantee if I treated you like you're treating others you'd be having a bad time.
@RyanCarniato@threepointone@ryanflorence Do we ship what we want or follow their vision is where I'm at. As I've said to a few people, I'm done contributing if all I'm doing is stepping on toes.
When React Router ships RSC/Server Action support, do you expect to use those features of React? Or are you happy with either you SPA + fetch, or React Router's loader/action MVC-ish model?
Ya know, enough of you are dumb ass fuck faces that voted for the orange shithead that I may just not do RSC until he's out of office. Thoughts on that?
