I can already tell what is going on with you. If you keep chasing new information without testing or practicing, it is because using what you already have does not feel as productive as reading something new. Testing is repetition. Practice is repetition. Neither gives you the dopamine hit of discovering something new. I get that. But the gap between where you are and where you want to be is not an information gap. It is an execution gap. And that gap only gets closed by doing the work you keep postponing every time you go looking for something else to read.

you don't have to be a genius or have generational talent. one way to win is through survival. stick around and do the monotonous work no one wants to do day in and day out. continue to find a way through the cracks and it will lead you towards the light.

A happy life is usually a simple life. A family you love, and who feels that love from you. A healthy body built through sleep, movement, and better choices. A clear mind shaped by reading, thinking, and curiosity. A purpose that gives peace, not pressure. And above all, a walk with God that steadies your heart when life shakes. Happiness is rarely found in more. It is usually found in finally valuing what matters.

Without discipline, you'll remain a slave to your impulses. Every time you exert discipline, you are improving your capacity to become free.

What is discipline? When you are tired, lazy, comfortable, and full of excuses, yet something deep inside still tells you to get up and do the work, that voice is discipline. Motivation is a feeling. Discipline is a decision.

Trading a positive-EV system is like owning a tiny casino: rules, math, repetition… boring… profitable. Discretionary trading is like being the casino gambler trying to outplay the house: stimulating, intuitive… and emotionally volatile. Pick your game. Then become lethal at it.

I will repeat the concept once again, because it should be clear even to the most stubborn: if you are trading right now, do it only to practise and keep up the pace, with low sizes and minimal risk. A few pounds, a clear head and zero ego. The time to push will come... and when it does, we will do it heavily... but not during a war, not when the market is influenced by unpredictable external factors. You only really push when the odds are clear, when you can move objectively and not against macro noise. Until then: preserve capital, remain patient and prepare yourself.👌🏻

"My emotions keep getting in the way." "I need more mental strength." No. Your lack of preparation is creating those emotions. If you had tested your system across a large enough sample, you would know what to expect. If your position size came from your data, losses wouldn't feel like threats. If you had practiced execution until it was automatic, there would be nothing to negotiate. The emotions you are trying to control wouldn't exist. What you need most right now is not walks, meditation, or a morning routine. It is preparation.

"Trading gives you freedom. Work from anywhere, anytime, and earn as much as you want." Many people start trading believing this. Me. Over time, I learned there is no freedom anywhere. You must not trade whenever you feel like it. If you trade to get the amount you want, you lose more than that. You are required to act with relentless consistency. There was no freedom anywhere. But when I accepted all of it, I became free. Rules decide everything, and all I do is follow them. I no longer think. I no longer hesitate. I no longer suffer over results. That was freedom.
