@dbg_collins Hi Daniel, apologies for the inconvenience. We had an issue over the weekend with our flow data. It was fixed by Sunday morning. We are investigating what caused it. Thanks

@ktaiuru Kia ora. Sorry to hear you’re still experiencing issues. Please send us the specific details including the time, route, stop to metro@ecan.govt.nz so that our Metro team can investigate and see if there are any problems.

For context. From @RavensdownNZ site: Urea is usually spread between 40 and 300 kg/ha..Smaller, more frequent applications are recommended to minimise losses due to leaching.. 400kg/ha on tarmac! That's going straight to the waterways @ECan @LytteltonPort
Three Boys in Avoca@threeboysbrew

Another #urea truck spillage trail in #Christchurch Obviously whatever @ECan or @ccc or @LytteltonPort @ceo_lpc did (or didn't do) after the last one had no impact on behaviour. Ineffectual, incompetent or just do give a f@$k? #pollution

@MetroCanterbury @ECan @ChristchurchCC Why do you run buses that are polluting our air so much like this diesel pumping out ridiculous amounts of black smoke? Buy more electric vehicles and get these diesels off our roads!

@whakaraupo @MPI_NZ Kia ora @whakaraupo We don’t have any harvests going on that would do this. With the recent heavy rains the rivers have risen and washed debris into the sea – it’s natural and often happens under these conditions. Thanks for sharing.

@MPI_NZ @ECan Forestry slash as far as the eye can see on New Brighton Beach this morning. Regardless of heavy rain events, how is this able to happen?

Hey #ChristchurchNZ bus operators and authority (ECan), check this pay move in Wellington out. Does driver pay in Chch match this? If it's less, raising pay is surely one method of increasing bus driver numbers & restoring service level? @ECan @MetroCanterbury @steve_walton99
edward miller@labourcartel

Amazing stuff from GWRC, valuing both drivers and passengers by *significantly* lifting wages to $27 an hour. Keen to work with progressive Councillors in Auckland to replicate this @efesocollins @RichardHills_ @HendoWest @pippacoom 🚍💵 stuff.co.nz/dominion-post/…

@ktaiuru Except for selected major stops, physical timetables are an estimated arrival time due to factors such as traffic. Please DM us or email metro@ecan.govt.nz with details of stop locations/bus times so we can look into any issues further.

@ktaiuru Kia ora @ktaiuru If you let us know which bus stop/s you saw these at we’ll look into this for you. You can DM us locations. The ‘next bus’ times, are based on real-time location of the bus (rather than timetabled times) to give a more accurate ETA.

@ladyhorrors Kia ora @ladyhorrors The Smelt-It app is designed for you to report current or recent odours, so you can't select a future date or time. We recommend you call @ChristchurchCC on 0800 800 169 if you think the odour is from the wastewater treatment plant fire.

@Billy_Boola We’re hoping to have all contract variations completed as soon as practicable. The contract variations ensure funding is passed on to drivers.

@withonelmichele Kia ora Michele, sorry for the delayed response. Drivers have to stop if the bell is pushed, whether or not it was accidental. We have not been made aware of any design issues that may be causing a problem, but we will monitor feedback following your comments – thanks.

@ECan what do you advise we do when a bus driver insists on stopping at every stop because someone accidentally pushed the button on those new buses where the buttons are at knee height? Stuck on a long trip GB5461

@ECan @saycheeselouise Thank you for your reply! As as a Selwyn resident, I was thinking more of a cap for regular cross-zone passengers, e.g. a commuter or student from Rolleston (Zone 2) to Chch (Zone 1), or a Lincoln High School (Zone 2) student who lives in Prebbleton (Zone 1).

@sophie__mcinnes @saycheeselouise Kia ora, weekly caps for public transport in Christchurch have existed since 2003. For example, zone one (Sumner to Prebbleton, Lyttleton to Kainga) has a weekly cap of $26.50 for bus travel within the zone. Thanks.

@saycheeselouise Ooh, I like this idea. @ECan should be doing a fare review this year too.. 📝🤔
