The Allen Americans will play their first game with convicted rapist Ben Johnson on the roster tomorrow against the Tulsa Oilers in Allen, Texas. No confirmation on if the convicted rapist will make his season debut for the Allen Americans yet.

There are very few people we will ever cheer the release of. Ben Johnson will forever be one of the select few that we will give this much attention to. We won this battle but that is 2 teams in 6 weeks who tried to sign him. Hopefully this war is over.

The @ECHL Transactions for 12/29 are out and the @AllenAmericans did not do the right thing and release CONVICTED rapist Ben Johnson. We need to keep the pressure up. There is no reason he deserves the privilege to play while a victim has to live with what happened to her.

@SensFanNL At the ECHL level there are players who are placed on IR with no injury so teams can keep players without releasing a player. This is likely the case here.
