Wastewater in Ottumwa, Iowa has tested positive for H5 bird flu, marking the first time it has been detected in Iowa since July. The state hasn't reported any cases in dairy cows since June.

I’m listening to Republican strategist Sarah Longwell on NPR talking about public opinion of Trump’s tyrannical posture and she just said:

Wow. 7% is a big number. There are 100,000 dairy workers in the United States. 7% of 100,000 is 7,000 cases....a tad higher than the 46 H5 human cases reported in the United States. This is too many shots on goal, and I worry about a random mutation that increases human spread.

Now that Trump has been elected, US military aid for Ukraine will soon dry up. If we have any intention of not letting Putin win, the EU and UK must now seize the $300 billion of Russian central bank reserves and use that money to support Ukraine. cepa.org/article/seizur…
