How to know you are going to Heaven: 1. Agree with God you are a sinner and the punishment for sin is hell. 2. Trust Jesus is God and paid for your sin punishment at the cross in full. 3. God says once you do this you are sealed with the Holy spirit as a guarantee that you are going to heaven analogy: If you are in court and have a speeding ticket that you can't pay off, and you say Sorry, I won't do it again to the judge, would he let you go free? No, I don't think so. But if someone goes and pays 100 percent of your fee for you in your place, how much punishment is left for you to pay? 0, so you're free from the punishment In the same way, our sin penalty is hell. The only way you can get free from hell punishment is by trusting Jesus paid for it at the cross when he died and rose again on the 3rd day, and by trusting in this alone, you can be 100% certain you will go to heaven And so, if we are thankful to God for what He has done for us, we should strive to avoid sinning,demonstrating our gratitude for Jesus' salvation of our lives.
