Iran demands Arab states pay reparations for facilitating US-Israeli aggression —— Iran’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Amir Saeid Iravani, has formally demanded that Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Jordan pay full reparations for their role in enabling the ongoing US-Israeli war of aggression. In a letter addressed to the UN Security Council and Secretary-General, Iravani asserted that these five regional states have breached their international obligations by allowing their territories to be used as launchpads for strikes against Iranian sovereignty since the war began on 28 February. According to Press TV, Tehran’s envoy emphasized that these states cannot invoke the right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter, as their facilitation of foreign aggression makes them legally responsible for all "material and moral damage" sustained by the Islamic Republic. The demand follows documented intelligence assessments by the Iranian Armed Forces showing that, in several instances, attacks on Iranian civilian infrastructure were directly supported or carried out via these regional hubs.
