Girls soccer loses 0-0, 3-2 in PKs.

Girls soccer defeats Taft 2-0 to finish second in the West Valley League. The Royals are 12-5-1, 7-3 in league. Ailany Cortez-Blanco (ast. Marie Torres) and Scarlet Harris (ast. Jacky Alvarado) scored tonight. The girls will play Wed. in the first round of playoffs.

Girls soccer defeated Chatsworth today 1-0. Jacky Alvarado (asst. by Ailany Cortez-Blanco) scored the lone goal. The Royals are 11-4-1, 6-2 in league play. The girls play again Wednesday against defending City Champion Granada Hills.

Girls soccer bounces back from the loss last week to Cleveland by defeating Birmingham 3-1. Esme Lopez, Jacky Alvarado (asst. by Bailey Feinberg), and Betsy Torres scored for the Royals. The girls are 10-4-1, 5-2 in league. They play again Friday at Chatsworth.

Congrats to the girls soccer team for defeating Taft 5-1 on senior night. Scarlet Harris and Sofia Larranaga each had 2 goals. Jordyn Kogan also scored. The Royals are 9–3-1 and 4-1 in league.

Congrats to the girls for defeating Chatsworth today 2-0. Jordyn Kogan scored off Jacky Alvarado’s corner kick. Jacky scored the second goal off Jordyn’s pass. The girls are now 7-3-1, 2-1 in league play. The girls play Friday at Granada Hills, the defending city champs.

Girls soccer defeats Birmingham 2-0 to improve to (6-3-1, 1-1 in league). Freshman Jacky Alvarado scored the opening goal assisted by Scarlet Harris. Scarlet added a goal with an assist by Bailey Feinberg. The girls play at home Wednesday vs. Chatsworth.

Former ECR girls soccer player Julie Lopez has signed her first pro contract with @AmericaFemenil. Julie will be the third ECR player to play professional soccer. Jackie Altschuld played for the San Diego Wave and Leslie Ramirez played for Chivas Guadalajara. Good luck Julie!
