I saw on here a month or so ago someone released a repo where you tell a chatbot to write you a software, it asks you clarifying questions, then it writes the software. Does anyone know the thing I am thinking of?

I sincerely hope Threads is not the winner of the Twitter replacement race because Meta's products show the worst effects of enshittification over and over. Twitter felt mostly unshittified until the Elmo takeover, and that was a huge part of what made it better

One of the reasons why I think prompt engineering will fade in importance for most people is that AI is already pretty good at doing prompt engineering for you. For example, you can get useful prompt guidance from just using this basic prompt in GPT-4. chat.openai.com/share/c1b9f609…

ShotSpotter (now known as SoundThinking) is audio surveillance technology that alerts police when it detects gunshot sounds. This leads to high-intensity, often violent interactions for residents with police -- while almost never turning up evidence a gun was fired.

I'd change the below slightly to say "a hidden army of contract workers ARE A KEY PART OF AI systems."
There is no separating the labor required to "make AI work" from the systems themselves.

I find Trello's interface overly busy & distracting. Github projects is ok but most tasks I am tracking are not code and creating issues in a repo seems excessive. Asana is nice but missing features (automation & custom fields) in the free product + too expensive for 1 person

It's nice taking an evening and reading all the tabs I opened with the best of intentions but gave up on or got distracted from or forgot. I get temporarily to be the aspirational version of myself who has leisure time and uses it to indulge my curiosity about the world
