@FellipeFreire @LatinXChem They also provide hydrophobicity to the polymeric system for the formation of amphiphilic systems that can form self-assemblies. Cholesterol is enough in small quantities, in this case 3% of the PHEA repetitive units, while cholic acid was functionalized to 13%. 2/3

@helen_willcock @RoySocChem ...the proportion of the terminal group would be higher compared to a linear polymer of the same molecular weight, providing greater hydrophobicity in the polymer. Thus, a higher hydrophobic content could generate larger aggregates.
