@JulieChangRE The only time I liked having an open concept kitchen was when my kids were little and I could keep an eye on them while I cooked. Why do you want people to see, hear & smell what you’re doing in the kitchen?!? I like to keep my mess in the kitchen, away from my guests.

What do you think of the result of closing off an open floor plan?

@Mr_Husky1 Add a tag to each blanket to let people know you made them especially for this special occasion and they are for people to take. Otherwise guests might think they are to use at the wedding only. That is an amazing gift!

I made forty-three blankets for my wedding in six days and my fiancé just told me none of the guests will probably keep them because they already have blankets at home. Eight months of planning, ordering yarn in bulk online to save money, every single evening after work crocheting until my fingers went numb, and he drops this bomb during our final walkthrough. “People might just leave them on the chairs, babe.” I wanted to scream. These aren’t just blankets. They’re proof I care. They’re hours of my life I’ll never get back. They’re me trying to make our wedding memorable and meaningful. Now I’m staring at this mountain of teal and navy and green and wondering if I wasted nine months on something people will abandon. Already looking at storage bins online to haul them all back home after the reception. Maybe I’ll sell them in the online store I decided to open after I got a lot of support from other crafters. Maybe I’ll keep them as a reminder that sometimes loving someone means making forty-three blankets they think are pointless. We’re still getting married. I think. Credit - mjcmatthew

Since I am in the business, autism is multifactorial, but the majority is explained by genetics (estimated around 80%). We know this by studies of twins. Identical twins have high likelihood of both having autism, which fraternal twins have much lower chance. But also we do

@MorningMashUp @MashUpNicole Try the app Nomorobo! You have to pay a couple of bucks a month for a subscription but it almost eliminated all my spam calls and texts. After a while they stop and you can end the subscription. Totally worth it!
