I've started playing The Division 2 again recently and really enjoying it. I've been playing Arc Raiders, Diablo IV, Escape from Tarkov and watching people play games such as Football Manager, Red Dead Redemption etc. The more I play other games, the more I'm convinced that EA MUST change the currently way UT is structurally set up. I get it, they need to monetise the game. But having anything of value hidden in packs of chance and not giving a competent way of grinding towards those players outside of spending literally thousands of dollars is crazy for 2 reasons. Firstly, this game is reset every 12 months and you got to do it all again. Secondly that 0.1% player you pack today, is obsolete in 1 month and there is a new 0.1% player. It's such an unhealthy connection that it makes the game pointless, and especially more so when gameplay (and the general gameplay loop) is so demoralizing even on a good day. All of these other games manage to monetise well without robing people, and what they offer as a micro-transaction (usually) represents value for money.

There’s one thing that can happen that would make this Black History Month extraordinary.
