It's about where the market is going. The price of oil is up sharply in the heat of a war with Iran. People who have no idea what they're doing probably care about that. People who know what's happening find it funny. Tell me, what happens to the price of oil when the supply of Kharg Island is guaranteed by the USA? What happens to the price of oil when the Strait of Hormuz is under the unquestioned protection of the USA, and isn't being threatened on a biweekly basis by a terrorist regime? Now. Tell me, what happens to the price of oil when US companies are welcomed into Iran and we start drilling all of the natural oil deposits that the regime has had to leave alone over the years? Trump doesn't care about the market today, nor the market a week from now. He cares about the price of oil when he's done. Reconvene on this in about 6 weeks.

Also, tariffs make goods more expensive for customers because importers increase the price of the goods to offset what they pay in tariffs which means customers pay more
