Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen are getting standalone releases not associated with NSO. That makes it more likely that others will be released like that as well. Also, those games will potentially be compatible with Pokemon Home. Which means... POKEMON BANK WILL BECOME OBSOLETE.

@TomFawkes That's so weird, since my aunt's dad just went to the emergency room for falling and hitting his head just last night. Hope she has a speedy recovery.

I didn’t want to post this until I was sure things were going to be OK: Tonight, my mom fell onto a concrete surface and hit her head hard. There was a moment when she was unresponsive and not breathing, but she regained consciousness quickly, though was still out of it. She was taken by ambulance to a hospital and needed emergency surgery to ensure she wasn’t going to lose her eye. I just heard from my dad that the surgery was successful and we’re waiting to see how she’s recovering. She’s most likely looking at a concussion and a fractured orbital bone. When she recovers, I need to take as many opportunities as I can to tell her I love her because tonight made me realize the last time I told her that could have been the last time ever.

@RiseFallNickBck I'm suprised nobody's tried to do a remake of it, especially since all the anime genres it parodied are actually mainstream now.

@AshNicholsArt I know that feeling. As soon as something good happened to me life decided to fuck me over. For example, last summer I got a really nice job that paid good money, but within a month corporate started cutting everyone's hours, and then it closed down a few months later...

@chuggaaconroy You forgot something, but it could be included when you do KH2: Rikku from FFX was originally planned to be in the game, but they were afraid players would confuse her and Riku, so they swapped her out for Yuffie but kept the same outfit as a small nod.

@chuggaaconroy Not sure about it in the first game since it's exclusive to the Final Mix version and I don't mess with the Gummi Ship that much, but it's in vanilla KH2 and I can confirm that it's a functional melee weapon in that game. Can't confirm about the damage thing, though...

I've heard a claim that Drill-G is not only a melee weapon for the Gummi Ship, but also does 9999 damage in Beginner. Does anyone have proof of this?

@chuggaaconroy @JasonAwes16 Personally, I usually pick the shield and discard the sword because the strength loss is easier to balance around compared to the MP loss. Plus if you go the Shield route in vanilla KH than you get access to Guard and Scan pretty early on compared to the other choices.
