Many people have the same major resistances but the longer the market chops and stalls, the less crowded and less conviction the downside trade becomes. It is mentally difficult to withstand for 90% of traders out there. Options run the market now and they are time sensitive. The longer market chops, the more people jump in bullish at the highs, while the last remaining bears get eliminated.

I'm curious, what is your intraday entry model. Calling tops and bottoms/daily bias is easy once you have a good grasp of SMC, intraday execution is different. Personally, my main models are a turtle soup/smt with the main entry model being the 2022 mentorship. Patience waiting for your entry is another beast and the pain of being right but not waiting for an optimal entry can mess all of us up.

Vindication. It never gets old when these higher time frame thesis trades play out. I now have October 2023 $NQ lows, Liberation Day 2025 $SPY lows and the 2026 “Caution”Top highs under my belt. These times bring me back to the beginning of my journey, when my Covid gains were bleeding away during 2022 and I was uncertain of my future doing this. It brings me back to the countless nights staying up until 3AM watching ICT videos only to lose the next day because it wasn’t my time yet. All the times I decided to miss going out with friends because I was so locked in on back testing and refining a repeatable model. Guess what? It was worth every damn second of it. I control my own destiny and I am so happy and proud of what I have accomplished. I’m even more excited that on a larger scale, this is only the beginning. Match how tough you are on yourself during the struggle with praise and celebration during success. Then find center and do it all over again. The best is yet to come 🔮

Intraday this week I have been finding it easier to short as prior week high has already been taken on the indices. Being long all I can target is current week high, but I don’t like the risk to reward setups I’ve been finding on long side. I have also started to be interested in GC longs. Still salty that 22,780 hasn’t been tapped yet on NQ. So close during New York session.
