@Nate_Squared @TwitterDev I understand the revenue extension argument but they have a full layer of payed APIs for businesses and it’s not cheap…

@TwitterDev I don't think I know the full extent of what this means but jesus guys calm down. Twitter is unprofitable and I believe the purpose of this is to add another revenue flow for these probably pressured web developers. But if I am missing something then implore you to enlighten me.

Starting February 9, we will no longer support free access to the Twitter API, both v2 and v1.1. A paid basic tier will be available instead 🧵
