#December7 | On this day in 1830, Filipino lawyer Ambrosio Rianzares Bautista was born in Biñan, Laguna. He drafted the Philippine Declaration of Independence, which he read to a crowd gathered outside Aguinaldo’s mansion in Kawit, Cavite on June 12, 1898.

#November29 | On this day in 1935, Pan American Airways’ Martin M-130 flying boat, dubbed the "China Clipper," arrived in Manila. The plane departed San Francisco, California on Nov. 22, 1935, carrying over 110,000 pieces of mail. It was the first commercial trans-Pacific flight.
