@mitchellh In a different context, I was trying to build an email client, as there isn't anything nice on linux, but even claude got stuck for a bit.

I'm dying for pi-mono-style minimal library that handles the hard parts of email (auth, syncing with local state, etc.) and gives me an opinionated way to add agentic loops on top of that. I want to build my own agents and logic and guardrails, I don't trust vendors right now.

This is exactly how the guy sounds in reality.

Claude Code continuously feels like it’s optimised to making me need a Max plan, it just gets off track all the time, and still does a bunch of things I didn’t ask for. And its tps is just bad…

Kimi K2.5 continues to be my daily driver for all the basic stuff where I don't need PhD-level intelligence. I just need it done quickly. Running it at 200 tps through @FireworksAI_HQ within @opencode is just such a delight.
