@davidphardy Yeah and then they sell the "test" as an easy target for the failure to prepare kids. It's a complete whitewash of the problem. They simply stopped pushing Black & Brown kids in NYC and this is what they got! Test is pure spin!

The barrier is a system that has no intention of serving large portions of the public education enrollment.

@davidphardy @citizenstewart They USE the "test" as an easy target for failing to educate kids of color. "In my day" kids had access to accelerated program in public school. And then you had more kids of color in the specialized schools. They forgot our advanced kids intentionally and blame the test. BS!

@davidphardy @citizenstewart The barrier to admission in NYC is that they closed down all the advanced & acceleration programs in schools in the Bronx and Brooklyn. They dropped the advanced Black & Brown kids into failing schools & claim they can't find students for specialized schools. It's NOT the test.
