Each space is translated into a soft ceramic shape, representing atmosphere and use, slip cast in stained parian to give an alternative guide that doesn’t rely only on text to communicate. Beautifully made by Studio/HOTMESS. Full collab list linked in the instagram post ^^

We designed a new wayfinding system as part of our project for @SciGalleryLon to improve how their spaces can cater for the multiple communities using their building. We combined clear labelling with a visual abstraction of the spaces into colour and form. instagram.com/p/CpaYT5RI6HV/…

Challenging traditional mapping conventions which tend to focus on roads, we drew a patchwork to hint at how architecture has influence and communities beyond a single building. The stray elements are a nod to the countless unmappable contributions made across the city everyday.

Among the objects in the Bethany Williams display is a jacket made of waste material - can you see the newspaper woven into it? It’s from old issues of the Liverpool Echo. I love how the waste hasn’t been masked and brings to it a wonderful texture 🗞 @DesignMuseum
