OP means they dislike when people say that in a RUDE way.
there is a WORLD of difference between just randomly saying,
“I’m turning your volume down!!”
And
“Oop, you’re a bit loud on my end, I gotta adjust the volume so things are balanced.”

im sorry but if you announce you are lowering someones volume on discord.... i fucking hate you. i fucking cannot stand you. i will immediately put you at 0 and never interact with you again. It's just so unnecessarily rude, sure adjust someones volume, but dont say shit about it
