A people willing to build their society must have a foundation to build on. The foundations for Ẹdo are in the recognition of our history and culture. European Visitors narrated that Benin possessed sophisticated architectural and civil works so advanced than they had. Then who are our politicians emulating when they go so low?😊 How connected are Ẹdo politicians to the great history of their forefathers? Where is their Pride? Where is their foresight? If only we could have another Pa Osaigbovo Samuel Ogbemudia: A man who took the Eastern invasion of Benin personal and requested to go fight for his people; A man who would later serve as an Administrator, wearing the pride of his forefathers and restoring the Legacy of Benin as an ancient city. Then he did it for all children born by Ẹdo in old Bendel. Ogbedmudia did all he did for Culture and History. But our politicians today do the barest minimum for praises they do not deserve at all. May we never lose our Pride and Honor for fame and fees we haven’t earned. In Ẹdo, our Honor and Pride are fixed in our History & Culture. This is why We Would Rather Die On Our Feet Than Live On Our Knees like most politicians.🦇🐆
