Had the joy of directing #JossAckland for @BBCRadio4 & @BBCRadio3 drama. The last was 2017, recorded at his home in Devon, and although pretty bedridden he was splendid. He then asked me to interview him so he could record his memories. Which I did! Sharp as a bell even then.
