if you don't have a Claude Max account but want remote access to Claude sessions, herdctl can do that for you too

If you have a proxmox setup, consider hosting your own Github Runners. I had Claude Code set them up for me across my existing small proxmox cluster of cheap ~8 year old HP Elitedesk mini PCs. Only took a few minutes; now jobs that took 5 mins take 1-2

I asked Claude Code to create an STL model I could 3d print to hold my proxmox cluster machines. It did really well. Depending on your printer, it can perform every step autonomously. Writeup and source at github.com/edspencer/elit…

@tom_hirst what agent are you using? I've found openclaw to be slow, buggy and crazy expensive, but hooking Discord directly up to Claude Code has been a winner

this is huge. all agents have to do is send "Accept: text/markdown" and we’ll automatically convert the response to Markdown on-the-fly for any enabled site. way fewer tokens. no need to handle it on your own.
Cloudflare@Cloudflare

Time to consider not just human visitors, but to treat agents as first-class citizens. Cloudflare’s network now supports real-time content conversion to Markdown at the source using content negotiation headers. cfl.re/4ksZQ1S

remember when google came along and it was great because it wasn't chock-full of ads? This is google in 2026. 100% of the vertical space of a full screen browser window on my MBP is just ads. Nothing above the fold serves the user. Nuts

4% of GitHub public commits are being authored by Claude Code right now. At the current trajectory, we believe that Claude Code will be 20%+ of all daily commits by the end of 2026. While you blinked, AI consumed all of software development. Read more 👇 newsletter.semianalysis.com/p/claude-code-…

watching Claude Code configure a dozen homelab services over SSH for me gives me mixed feelings. It's cool because it can use my ssh key to do loads of things. It's scary because it can use my ssh key to do loads of things.

this is the only time in my career as a software engineer when I've rented some of my tools. I wonder if it will stick

@EdenEmarco177 +1 on the security nightmare this represents. The ecosystem will gain tooling to ameliorate this, but the nature of how LLMs work suggest it is not a problem that has a definitive solution.

this is fascinating. I think it's a little overstated, but there's also several large kernels of undeniable truth here: youtube.com/watch?v=WfjGZC…

@YifanBTH could not agree more. I use herdctl to run those types of markdown-backed agents inside Docker, with Discord as the front end. I think it's a perfect fit for this category of agents. I run several of them myself already: edspencer.net/2026/2/4/run-c…

Biggest lesson from 1 week of OpenClaw usage: Structured .md files are all you need for high-throughput agent comms. Custom UI is overrated.
