I have been trying to schedule a demo with @solvhealth for the past couple of days, for a client that uses @athenahealth as its EHR. Do they check web form submissions?

I'm going crazy trying to get a @GoogleAds account verified. Literally weeks. What can be done?

@rebekah_creates I asked Gemini the same question and the reply was that they're dynamic, so it's hard to provide specific schedules. But it also said to try official sources. In my follow-up, it said to visit senate.gov, which does have the schedule on the home page.

Y’all need better web designers. But I guess maybe you don’t, since for you, it doesn’t matter how awful of an experience you provide — you’ll still rank because *backlinks*.

Introducing: News SEO in 2025 1. Can’t find a simple answer to a query (I was looking for a schedule of today’s confirmation hearings). 2. Click on 4 results, hoping for the best. 3. Very unfortunately click on high-ranking page from @CBSNews which NOT ONLY doesn’t answer the query, but ALSO uses display ads so big I can’t see anything on the page and hides content behind a “Read More” button which is clearly designed to increase clicks on page and no other benefit.

It's been a good run, but I think I have to quit SEO as I have been offered this unforgettable opportunity...

I don't read the @NashvilleScene as often as I used to but picked it up and discovered @hannah_herner's "Hometown Date" in Vodka Yonic. Very thoughtful essay. And don't all of our hometowns change over time? Thank you, Hannah. Nicely done.

👀 Welcome to the Google "Big Brand" Update! You might have seen how many review/affiliate sites, whether niche or even overall/big ones, like the Wirecutter, Business Insider dropped in their search visibility. But which sites have benefited the most from this? Unlike what you might think, is not really the overall retailers/marketplaces! (Google doesn't seem to like the middlemen, whether reviews sites or generic retailers/marketplaces). Sites like Walmart, Best Buy, Macys, Target ... have only seen a relatively small positive shift if any. In fact, most of them also have a negative visibility trend too since last year's Qs updates, as you can see in the screenshots. The winners have been the brands' sites, such as Nike, or Gymshark. Google is ranking the brands directly instead. Also, smaller but authoritative niche brands for the relevant sector. A few examples in the thread (that I'll continue to update)👇

Two clients' last day was officially today, so I sent out wrap-up info with links to their resources and final invoice confirmations. I'm not proud to say I've spent most of my day reading a book and trying not to cry. They're my two oldest clients. Both of them were guaranteed results from someone (the same someone) who "totally understands why your site lost traffic and can definitely get it back." So glad for the clients who are sticking around and trust me to stay on top of the research to understand what needs to be done. And I'm grateful it wasn't every client losing traffic, and that several of them are soaring. But this has been a tough day.

@JohnMu Fair enough, sir. I would guess there's nothing in the search pipeline, either. I'll try asking support. Not a big deal, just due diligence on my part.

Hey #seotwitter, a client of mine (hospital and physician practice sites) asked if #Google would consider giving legitimate sites "badges" as a trust signal. I said I didn't know, but I'd ask. Maybe something in GBP's future? Eh? @JohnMu
