Southern University student Caleb Wilson’s death is a tragedy that highlights a larger problem with Fraternities. They are not f*cking gangs. You don’t need to be jumped in. Caleb was a smart, talented young man, & his life is over! For what?
The Divine 9 was started to educate & uplift the black community. It gave young black people a sense of belonging, & pride in something bigger than themselves. Should be the same today. We should lead with altruism, & love instead of abuse & torment.
It’s not just the Devine 9. It’s the Greek system as a whole. Something has to change or it should cease to exist. I love Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity inc. I love Nu Iota, my Line brothers, & everyone in the bond. I would not die for it, & neither should anyone else. R.I.P Caleb Wilson 🕊️ 🙏🏾

A few days ago, I woke up at around 2am. I knew it was my cue to pray. I was sleepy but pushed through and started praying in tongues. As I prayed, I was asking the Holy Spirit for revelation about what I was praying about.

STORY TIME! I was on a plane recently. Passenger started feeling ill. Flight attendants asked for any medical professionals on board. I alarmed my call bell and said I was a physician. Another physician alarmed as well. We descended on the passenger who, after a physical exam and collateral history from his mother, realized he missed a few medications for blood sugar control. Therapy initiated. Passenger stabilized and ultimately improved. The other physician was awesome and we both fit well into our roles to serve this passenger. The other passengers patted us on the back and gave us a round of applause. It felt good, but more importantly it was a reminder that God can call you at any time to do what it is you do. I was listening to soca music and playing a crossword puzzle on my phone when the flight attendant asked for us in a panic. Everything that you’re doing on this earth…is for a purpose. And you never know when your purpose is needed. So, as my brother @samarirolle21 says, don’t get ready..STAY READY! God’s good! (Photo posted w/ consent) #twopercentway #YourPurpose

My son and the neighborhood kids play these seven-game sets, moving the portable goal to different yards when the series calls for it. Today was a must win game and this is how they came out the “locker room” 😂. Let's make kids playing together in your neighborhood the norm again.
