Nu är väl relationen med Newcastle helt förstörd efter Isak-soppan och jag har varit skeptisk tidigare till Gordon till Liverpool men det är nog en grym värvning i sommar. Kan spela mer eller mindre alla offensiva positioner, spelare som klarar av högt presspel och kan dessutom prestera från dag ett. Som grädde på moset är han och hela hans familj Liverpool-supportrar.

Lasciatemi spendere qualche parola su Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Ogni volta che il calciatore georgiano sfodera una prestazione da urlo come quella di ieri sera – e non è la prima, perché ci ha abituato a mettere in campo performance fuori dall’ordinario – a Napoli si genera una sorta di movimento misto tra nostalgia e polemica. C’è chi accusa Aurelio De Laurentiis di averlo ceduto a una cifra troppo bassa e chi sostiene che il #Napoli non sia stato in grado di trattenerlo con argomenti convincenti. Dall’altro lato, c’è invece chi dà del traditore a un calciatore che, evidentemente, ha vissuto il club azzurro e soprattutto la Serie A come una fase di passaggio verso campionati più attraenti (persino la Ligue 1 lo è più della Serie A, ahinoi) e compagini in grado di competere stabilmente ai vertici del calcio europeo. Quello che mi sento di dire è che Kvaratskhelia è stato uno degli eroi del primo scudetto e che, dopo quella stagione, a Napoli aveva evidentemente perso degli stimoli: sia nell’anno sciagurato di Rudi Garcia e tutti quelli arrivati dopo, sia nei primi mesi con Antonio Conte, non ha espresso al massimo le sue straordinarie potenzialità. Questo è un fatto. Quello che mi tengo è l’immagine di un giocatore sontuoso, uno dei più grandi calciatori che abbiano indossato la maglia del Napoli. Mi piace ricordare le sue giocate, le emozioni che ne sono scaturite e, sinceramente, sono felice di vederlo replicare gesti tecnici simili in contesti come quello del Paris Saint-Germain, società a noi amica e tifoseria gemellata. Per tale ragione, non comprendo questo continuo polemizzare e questo approccio nostalgico-aggressivo che spesso emerge tra i tifosi del Napoli. Kvaratskhelia appartiene a quella categoria di calciatori come Edinson Cavani, Ezequiel Lavezzi e Fabian Ruiz – non a caso tutti passati poi al PSG – e tanti altri che sono andati via dopo aver scritto pagine importanti della storia partenopea. Ricordiamoli con gioia e con soddisfazione, senza avvelenarci con polemiche futili. Anche perché mi pare che dopo Kvara - e gli altri - questo club qualcosa di buono sia riuscito a farla.

Kvaratskhelia form is a proof if you don’t play in EPL or La liga especially, just show up in the big UCL night and everyone will say you’re the best in the world. Do people even realize he has just 4goals and 4assist in the league?
