In today’s climate, it’s hard to stay motivated as both an educator and a future educator. However, in the words of Brad Henry, “A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning.” It’s important to remember your “why”!

Today in class we discussed operant conditioning. Comparing the differences between our typical classroom atmosphere versus one that practices operant conditioning was interesting to me. With both pros and cons, when is it most useful?

Midterm season is upon us college students. Although stressful, midterms shouldn’t be something to be afraid of. All it takes is preparation!

Next week I get the pleasure of presenting a number of breakout sessions at @edrising_ne Fall Leadership Conference. Public speaking may seem like a daunting task, but when you break it down and practice proper preparation, it’s not too bad!

Today at our NSEA AE chapter meeting we got the pleasure of hearing about building a strong chapter. It’s cool to see my experience as an Educators Rising Chapter Officer blend in with our work in NSEA. Next up for NSEA: Fall Conference in York next month!
