Time for the annual year's summary, isn't that just thrilling! Last one's been pinned for a year now, hence I intend to continue with the tradition..

Today was spent piloting Rail Replacement between Barnham and Portsmouth Harbour. Whilst the route was dominated by Enviro400MMCs there was a very vibrant selection of the type - but of course the almighty Scanias were the star of the show ✨️💪

The Enviro also passed it's MOT with flying colours, and following some work to the demisters it is now fully roadworthy and ready for the rally circuit this year. As such the fleet stands at LDP130, SOE4 and 1113. More info in picture 3.

Long time no see Twitter - a lot has gone one since I was last here, the main thing being a trip to Jersey which resulted in.. this. Welcome 1113, a Jersey bus for all it's life although built in Portsmouth. It was driven straight for an MOT upon arrival here, which it passed.

Quick update! Everything’s on the road and running fine — no cancellations so far (touch wood 🤞). Just a small delay of up to 15 mins due to traffic. Rest all good! 🚐✅

@_mylesw @robbo84_kltfc Had a Voith B7TL doing that, it was fitted with a ZF gearbox ECU not a Voith one which caused it to over read and top out at 39!

@robbo84_kltfc Nope! Maxes out at about 43 now, though the speedo reckons it’s doing 65… few of ours have done this before so it’ll just be a case of waiting for the engineers to sort it now!

3793 and 3796 for some X84s today. Not in any rush to drive 3796 again 🤣.

@Ethan62462226 @ShiresBusNews Twas only a matter of time for EET. Sounded horrific. HYO is marked as disposal so presumably on borrowed time, didn't realise it was still in use.

@ShiresBusNews YJ08 EET withdrawn due to engine failure and replaced by YX72 OEN. FJ58 HYO seems to be running today though?

Following Arriva Hemel's decision to transfer 2 Wright Streetlites to Stevenage, the 3/4 have been down a bus and thus are utilising, for the most part, an ADL Enviro300 to fill the gap. These are too long for the route and a large estate has to be skipped on these workings...

Same route, same angle, same operator, aame manufacurer, 4½ years apart. Carousel ran 3 of the ex Go South Coast Citaros, all of which were withdrawn in 2022. Still a large user of the vehicles, they run 12 O530s of 2009 and 2012 vintage, and 3 O295s from 2017/18.

Go-Ahead London LF67 EXL, a Volvo B5LH/Wright Gemini 3 can be seen making it's way from North Greenwich to Tottenham Court Road, the impressive O2 Arena towering behind.

@OOCTransport Couldn't run a fucking tap let alone a bus service 😂

The final operational Alexander ALX400 bodied Dennis Trident at Aldershot, 18187/MX54 LPO, can be seen at Fleet station mid-way through a 10 service from Farnborough. Seemed in decent nick considering it's made an incredible 20 years in service, and it's an absolute time capsule!

@Mkb_UK @ShiresBusNews As far as I'm aware they were surplus to requirements given 30 B8s arrived and only 23 buses left (SWB B8s & 14x MMCs), alongside the other 4 WFs which were directly replaced.

@ShiresBusNews What are Luton getting in return if anything?
