my brain's context window ran out before my agents did. so I put a little pixel buddy in my notch and it watches all of them for me. it tracks claude code, codex, gemini, cursor, all of them. when one needs approval the notch expands and I can just hit allow without leaving what I'm doing. plays 8-bit sounds. click any finished task and it jumps to the exact terminal tab, even the right pane. been running 5-8 agents daily for two months and honestly this is the only reason I haven't lost my mind.

老师，我用的 vibe-kanban 也能正常使用，非常棒！！ 不过有两个小问题反馈下，一是如果在 island 授权 plan，我发现 vibekanban 没有执行，所以现在我看到消息还是会去 vibekanban 里执行。 第二个是，能否加个选项，默认不弹出详细消息，因为我不太想我的状态被打断，只要有个提醒就行了。 @imedwardluo

@eddy3268 Thanks for trying Vibe Island! OpenClaw support is on the roadmap. I have an early demo working, but OpenClaw has quite a few different connection modes to handle properly, so it'll need a bit more time. Stay tuned!

Thank you for trying Vibe Island! 🏝️ For terminal jump to work, please make sure: 1. Accessibility permission is granted — System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility → enable "Vibe Island" 2. Click on a session card when the notch is expanded Which terminal app are you using? (iTerm2, mac Terminal, Ghostty, etc.) Some terminals support more precise jumping than others. Feel free to ask if you need more help!

and thanks for the security-consciousness! All releases now are Developer ID signed + Apple notarized + stapled — both the .app and the DMG itself. You can verify with: spctl --assess --verbose "Vibe Island.app" Curious which version/file you checked — would love to track down if something slipped through. Feel free to DM me the output and I'll take a look.

@imedwardluo Excited about this concept — love the idea of a Dynamic Island for agent status. Before installing, I ran a quick code signing check and got "code object is not signed at all" on the DMG. Any plans to notarize? Hard to recommend to others (or install on a sensitive machine) without it.

@edwardluox Vibe Island is a really cool app, but it keeps misidentifying Codexbar — a tool that shows usage stats for OpenAI Codex and Claude Code without requiring login. This is actually pretty frustrating and makes the experience less reliable. Hope this gets fixed soon.
