BBC had some great lines yesterday in news items about capping vet prescription fees: 'cat owners have been kept in the dark for too long' 'vets need to be more transparent'.

A cat bite… my wife is in a lot of pain. Swelling, she’s on antibiotics. This is the hazard of working with cats. Happened on Wednesday, she has worked yesterday and today. This is not the worst bite she has experienced, but it is still painful.

@DudeAdhd I hope your wife feels better soon. My vet stepson got bitten by a cat and ended up in surgery to get "flushed out".

@DudeAdhd you will have to jump through all kinds of hoops to make the claim on his behalf and UC will tell you masses of contradictory things along the way as to who needs to show up at job centre etc but eventually he will get the basic then a whole nother slog for the disabled element

Can anyone tell me if it is worth applying for universal credit for my son? I just don’t want him to go through assessments. Age 17.
