The more time that passes the more I want Arsenal to sign Adam Wharton this summer as the midfield reinforcement.
A real passer, insanely progressive with his passing and has an eye for a final-ball - bypassing a lot of build-up nonsense.
He’d make #AFC a lot more fluid and progressive compared to what Zubimendi is offering at the moment. A must buy.

Basically zero clips of Martinelli generating something from wide, that was not what made him good. Martinelli being forced into a role as a width holder is arguably the biggest development failure of Arteta’s reign. He has a great feel for combination centrally (he’s a Brazilian attacker, they often do), running in-behind and getting off snap-shots with one or two touches. He should’ve been the next world class inside forward type.
