Testing EEWN warnings (sorry for the inconvenience)

Called the school, nothing unusual happening there. Wave forms show kids running but at a much lower level of acceleration. We'll see.

3402A is Barrowtown Elementary in Abbotsford.

Nothing further is happening, something very local. We'll see if it shows up in other feeds.

@tjryce yes - it means the threshold of 0.3mg was exceeded in Nanaimo (barely). At 2mg the word "ALARM" is used instead of "WARNING"

I see corresponding very small shakes on NRC sensors (Lost Lake, Galiano Island). Hope you did not get too startled by the warning.

Probably a "slow slip" event ... we are getting hundreds of M0-M1 quakes these days. Nothing to worry about, not even possible to sense.
