Hungarian. The language structure is fundamentally different from other indo-european languages with a lot of "just vibes" type rules. It's only spoken in one ~9mil population country in the world with one of the worst economies in the EU. Literal waste of time as a foreigner.

FGs are not a popular genre. Then you make it 2v2 which itself is niche in the genre cuz it's convoluted. Then you introduce a control scheme that alienates a portion of experienced players. You ship with 12 chars. I've been asking since the beta: Who was this game meant for?

2XKO is a really fun little kusoge that could have a great life as a niche side tourney game. But expecting it to compete with SF, Tekken, etc. and marketing it this way was clearly an upper management mistake, for which the devs (many of them FGC) pay the price. Baffling.

@CypressDahlia Creating an original theme from scratch and then sampling it to make his actual theme just feels plastic and forced. A cool execution of the concept would have been taking samples of beloved past Spidey themes and making a theme out of those. Most likely legal issues tho. (2/2)

@CypressDahlia It is very clear what kind of vibes they were going for, but what makes sample-based music like french house cool is that they use existing songs and sample them to create something new, making it in a way an organic evolution of what came before (1/?)
