@efeoise_ Technically true, but misleading. Amazon, Slack, most fintechs have the same "business transfer" clause. The FTC effectively pushed cos to include it after 2000. An IPO sells shares, not customer databases. Public shareholders (like you and I may soon be) don't get user data.
