CSU released their predictions for this upcoming hurricane season. Due us transitioning into an El Niño in the next few months and then continuing to increase into a moderate to strong El Niño by hurricane season, CSU is predicting a lower than normal active season.

We officially had the warmest March on record! Pueblo had the highest March temp ever recorded of 93 degrees on the 21st. Temp reached 90 degrees or greater 3 times which has never happened before. The previous earliest 90 degree temp on record in Pueblo was April 6th, 1991

We got a little bit more snow than predicted in Southern Colorado yesterday. We do welcome the moisture we need it desperately as you take look at our current snowpack. We have seen improvements but with March being Colorado’s snowiest month hopefully we can get out of this hole

Rain & snow will be starting tomorrow and lasting through Saturday morning. In Colorado Springs we will see mainly rain but the western side may experience some traces of snow. Not been portions of El Paso County may see some flurries late Friday night

Phil saw his shawdow but will there be 6 more weeks of Winter? Last year he saw his shawdow and was wrong. We are tracking a change from a La Niña pattern to an neutral El Niño in February to March which usually means more snow in Southern Colorado

Christmas is TWO WEEKS away! The CPC is showing above normal temps for all of Colorado. There is a higher precip chance for Northern and Western Colorado and below normal precip chances for Eastern and Southern Colorado. Hopefully you weren’t dreaming of a white Christmas 😢
