unpopular opinion (i guess), but i don’t think sotr is nearly as colorful as people say. i mean, they already have the color, now they should take that hideous filter off, fix the color grading. it’s supposed to reference the 60s-70s anyways

@celedrielscurse + the only tip id give you is to always use 1080p or higher clips. this one looks bad because the thg account uploaded a 720p video 😭 also, twitter compresses it way more than tumblr, so the settings are different

@bertharussells nossa você expressou exatamente o que eu queria ter dito. e essa é uma crítica que se estende pros figurinos etc. não que o livro seja bom, mas se foi escrito com o filme em mente, a adaptação ainda tinha potencial em vários aspectos. só que nada tá sendo bem aproveitado

tinha jeito melhores de fazer um retrofuturismo q é o q parece ser a ideia (manter a panem brutalista mas trazendo um q de psicodélico 60 e 70),enfim o resultado não tá tão interessante quanto pintam mas tbm não dá pra esperar nada do vendo que tudo que sai considera o suprassumo

@feathx_ e ficaria tão LINDO. tão diferente da estética opaca pós 2010. o filme não precisa ser cinzento pra dar um ar sério, não seria tão oposto aos temas (na verdade daria um ar mais perturbador, o contraste entre as cores e os acontecimentos, como é pra ser a arena)
